Day 1: Gods Fury

DAY 1: Gods Fury
Ever since the beginning of this year their island has been changing. First it was things like more storms and bad weather, and their volcano has been going of a heck of a lot! But now things have been getting weird… weird like zombies, laser beams, and piranhas, oh my! Zam, the leader, addressed these problems. “The minds of our octopus gods have been transforming…. All of us have passed away, however on most occasions, they have been apologetic and gave our lives back… now I must ask my fellow tribe members, what is it that they want? Why are then not satisfied with one death, Why must we suffer the pain and sorrow not once, not twice, but up to thousands of times??”

“They want to embarrass us! Such as how our grass skirt have been mysteriously falling! And the stupid bird has pooped on us many times!” Wala shouted from among the crowd of five listening to Zam. “They make us fall, and fly, at their will! We must dance in ridiculous choreography and-“ she was interrupted by Rassa.

“A-a-actually I kind of like the dance…. It’s a gift that they give us, not a punishment!” she said, louder.
The rest of the tribe agreed.

“Then, what is it they trying to do?” Goob asked. “They obviously want something!”
Now Ahak answered “We must tell them we are not happy! We must speak up!” .
He started shouting at the skies “Gods! We are not happy with your constant blood shed, and then rebirth as if it is some sort of sick joke! We wish to not be brought back and killed at your will!”

There was no reply from the gods. There was not one present from the bird, or shark falling from above. Actually, it was a lot better for the pygmies this way. All of the sudden, a week later, a terrible storm struck!

The sky was a vortex leading up into the darkness. Lightning, wind, and waves struck, blew, and crashed. The moon and sun rose and set multiple times, as a booming voice struck out, and there statues gem glowed, it was very luminescent. The voice crackled like the thunder, as Tala fought to keep on the ground.

“You have irked your gods! You complain of our good deeds, of bringing you back to life! It is disgraceful, and now, I shall never bring any of you filthy beasts back again! Enjoy your life this time around, for it will be your last…”

Lightning shattered across the sky, lighting even the darkest part of the island... Zam, Wala, Tala, Rassa, Ahak, and Goob felt the bolts soar through their rib cage, as it slowly, painfully crept its way down their body, you could hear the ribs crack, one by one….

They had woken up, all six, feeling perfectly healthy, however, immensely terrified of what was to come….
